Who are Nu Woman Beauty and what services do you offer?
Nu Woman Beauty offer a professional Make Up, Beauty and hair arrangement service to the arts, entertainment, theatre, glamour, catwalks and media professionals. We are also specialists in Bridal Hair & Makeup and offer a home service to private clientele.
Within our offer of Makeup Artistry we also provide specialist application of makeup to African, Caribbean and Asian skin tones, (very fair to very dark skin tones) therefore can offer a first class service to all. We also have hair stylists who are experts in African Caribbean hair styling and who apply professional extensions and weaves to all hair types. We lead in providing consultation and consultants for TV and theatre brides so have the authority on bridal hair and makeup trends.
All artists in our consortium have between 5 and 25 years experience in beauty therapy and makeup artistry, and generally work in this field on a full time basis. Several are also qualified hairdressers specialising in professional hair styling and Wedding hair, but they get booked up very quickly so brides, enquire as soon as you know your wedding date or special event.
As well as makeup, we are also stockists of exclusive Italian & Scandinavian, Rhinestone and Swarvoski Crystal bridal jewellery including tiaras, necklaces, bracelets, chokers, earrings, pearl, diamante and crystal designs together with matching wedding jewellery sets. These beautiful designer pieces are hand picked to offer variety, quality and glamour to any beautiful bridal attire, catwalk, beauty pageants or special event.

Do you offer makeup services to African Caribbean or Asian Skin tones?
All artists have been professionally trained in makeup artistry. Most courses tend to lean towards non black skin tones when delivering the subject matter, hence a lot of professional companies still use products and techniques that do not optimally enhance brown skin tones and bone structure. Nu Woman Beauty have specialists in the application of makeup for African, Caribbean, and Asian skin tones and will produce professional flawless finishes every time.
What about afro hair?
We also deliver a second to none, professional bridal hair service to clients with all afro hair types as well as European hair. Our specialist team are experts in their field and produce glamorous hairstyles, and extensions using methods such as sewing, net weaves, cap weaves, bonding, clip extensions, micro link intensions and invisible partings. All with natural looking results.
My Skin is heavily scarred and has varied skin discolouration, will your artists be able to expertly cover my skin for my wedding?
Our artists are trained to camoflague varied pigmentation on all skin tones, some work with medical services to support post operative scarring. We have a bank of experts for every corrective situation therefore rest assured, you have come to the right place.
Where are you based?
Our artists are based all over Greater London, Reading and Milton Keynes and regularly travel internationally to accompany brides or attend events around the world. Our commercial team have a mobile studio and mostly work on sets. Our head offices is based in Dulwich and Islington where bookings are taken.
How soon can I expect to receive my ordered items?
We stock 70% of our lines at all times. Regular shipping time is 7 to 10 business days to you if you are in the UK. Some orders in manufacture may take up to 28 days to become available, but we will notify you of this before you place your order. International Shipping will take between 7 to 15 days with in stock items. We would be glad to express ship your order, although this will incur an additional fee. All UK deliveries will incur a small postage charge.
What are your opening hours?
Beauty & Hair services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week for commercial clients. Office opening hours are Monday to Saturday 12 noon until 10pm. Once your booking is confirmed you will be allocated a consultant and telephone number who you can contact at any time to answer your queries.
Please note that during busy periods we may operate the answer phone system. Any calls will be answered within 12 hours. All bookings are honoured on a first come basis. All online enquiries are usually answered immediatly, or within 12 hours.
I loved my last Makeup Artists work, can I have the same Artist again?
All of our Artists have exceptional skills, however we do allow client/Artist pairing as this has been an overwhelming success. However this will mean that you will have to wait until your chosen artist /stylist is available.
I intend to have 8 bridesmaids at my wedding, all of whom will require hair and makeup, can you supply artists to cope with such a demand?
We highly recommend having your bridesmaids hair and makeup applied from one source, this enables a smart and uniformed look which will have a positive impact on your photographs. We can supply teams of artists for up to 40 persons, using only our artists, thus keeping standards high.
If you are thinking of booking our services, enquire as soon as possible, we hate to turn brides away, but have to do so very often as we get fully booked months ahead.
I have a tattoo, can you remove its visibility for my show/wedding?

What are the prices for your services?
We do not publish exact prices as they vary depending on your location. But don't worry, our prices are extremely competitive and start at just £75 for a bridal consultation and £99 for Bridal Makeup. Bridal Hairstyling starts at £69 based on an estimate in the South London Area and £119 with extensions. Discounts on multiple bookings of 5 plus are available.

How do I pay for my services?
We accept a full range of payment methods. These include bank funds transfers and all Credit & Debit cards through our secure PayPal system.
